I sure do love this little guy.....even though he has decided that sleeping all night is for the birds. Last night he was only up once but the previous five nights he was up every two hours. That makes for one tired Mama! He's still my sweet handsome little man though, and I sure do love him to pieces! And he's been working hard on sitting up! He's getting close (having toys to eat really helps)!

Texas Fun
I'm almost finished with all of my pictures from our week in Texas! If I don't get them on the blog now with little captions, I won't at all remember what they were about in ten years!
Laney Bug having fun in the toy that Caroline let him play with for the week!
Leah wanted to take her tap shoes with us to Texas so that she could show everyone her moves! That she did! She put on a show for everyone in the garage!
Lane loves his Aunt Kylie!
Papaw and Daddy took Leah to the park one day!
Of course there was a snow cone involved in this outing!

Hug Hug Kiss Kiss
Hug hug kiss kiss! This is something that my Mimi says to us and we say to her every single time we say goodbye whether in person or on the phone. This little saying is such a trademark between us that she even signs it in every single card she signs us or letter she writes us. We've been saying this back and forth for so many years that I can't even tell you when it started! Well now my kids are saying "hug hug kiss kiss" to Mimi! Melts my heart!
Leah LOVES Mimi! She would sit by Mimi at dinner each night and loved getting to go to Mimi's house! Mimi hosted a tea party for us to introduce Lane to her friends and Leah loved every single minute of this! Luke and I were busy getting Lane out of the car when we got to Mimi's house and Leah ran up to the door yelling "I'm here for the tea party." During the party I was in the family room feeding Lane and I could hear Leah and Mimi sitting at the table enjoying their treats! Leah sounded like an eighty-year-old woman just hanging with her friends! At one point I overheard her say "Mimi, your backyard is BEAUTIFUL!". This girl sure does love her Mimi! Laney Bug does too!

Nana Lovin'
Nana sure does love her grandbabies! I wish I had more pictures of Leah and Nana because these two spent tons of time together! Leah slept with Nana and Papaw almost every night that we were in Texas and even stayed overnight with them when Luke, Lane and I went to Lubbock to stay with Chris, Kylie and Caroline!
A Visit From Nelson
Leah is in the puppies class at preschool (hence her calling it "puppy preschool") and their class mascot is a puppy named Nelson. Each kid gets to take Nelson home for a week and lucky for Leah, this was her week to bring that sweet puppy and his blankie home! Nelson is supposed to go everywhere we go so that we can write about his week in his journal! We didn't have anything too exciting on the calendar for our week with Nelson so the two fun things that he got to do with Leah was go to dance class (we forgot to take him to gymnastics with us.....whoops) and going for a ride in her pink Barbie car! Nelson was supposed to go back to school today, but Leah has had a terrible cough the past two days so she didn't even make it to school today. She coughed so hard she threw up twice this morning just after she got out of bed so Mommy had to make an executive decision. I just couldn't send her to school coughing so hard that she would throw up. This was her very first sick day at puppy preschool. Poor girl! This just means we get an extra two days with Nelson. Lucky us!
Nelson at dance class!
Nelson got to go for a ride!
Our entry in Nelson's journal! Leah signed her own name!
And just because we're on the subject of "puppy preschool", here are a couple of cute pictures!
There's a new costume in the dress up clothes, and the dress up queen spotted it immediately! She had to've been the first to try it on!
And Leah and Tanner being cute as always! These two are great buddies, and I'm so glad that they're going to be in the same class next year!

Our Newest Frequent Flyer
This trip to Texas brought on a first for Lane.....his first time to fly! He did AMAZING! He just ate and slept on all four flights (two there and two home)! He could not have done any better! He's going to be a professional traveller just like his sister! These pictures aren't the best. I didn't even think to take pics so these are just ones that Luke took while playing on his phone!
Fun With Papaw
Papaw has been waiting patiently for grandbabies for quite sometime. As soon as Leah was born he put in his request for another. He's now up to three and still asking for more! Ha!
Giving Lane his first lesson on the iPad!
Papaw with his two newest babies! He was so proud of this picture!
Lane and Papaw playing the guitar (more like drums on the guitar).
Leah got to have Papaw all to herself when Luke, Lane and I went to spend the night with Chris, Kylie and Caroline! Papaw even took her on a date to McDonalds and to Mimi's house!
Leah is a huge fan of Papaw playing the guitar! One night she wanted him to play the guitar while she danced for us all! She even sang for us at the end!
Papaw wears a necklace that Leah is very fond of.....so much so that Leah asked Papaw to make her one of her very own. That he did!

My Little Fishergirl
One of the things that Leah was looking forward to while we were in Texas was going fishing with Papaw and Daddy with her pink fishing pole just like she did when we were there last year!
Looks like she caught one!
Her favorite part of the whole experience.....her snack! They said she asked for her snack the moment they arrived at the pond and that is all that she was interested in! Sounds like a girl to me! The guys did assure me (after I saw these pictures) that they did not let her eat the food that touched the dock. I can only pray!
Her other favorite part of her fishing trip.....riding up front in the truck in her carseat!
And, of course, all fishing trips must end with a treat from Dairy Queen!
